De Nobili College, Pune.
We have begun well our academic year in De Nobili with the annual retreat directed by Fr. Kulandai of Andhra Province. The Bishop of Pune Rt. Rev. Thomas Dabre celebrated the inaugural Eucharist in Jnana Deepa Vidhyapith. Schs. Nilesh and Michael along with Fr. Jacob Kulangara gave us a warm welcome to the first year philosophers. This year onwards JDV in collaboration with IGNOU is organizing a course in M.A. Philosophy. So we are fortunate to obtain a M.A from IGNOU along with the B.Ph form JDV. Many of us have opted to go ahead with the M.A programme. De Nobili and JDV are also providing very many courses during this academic year. Some of us are attending various language courses such as French, Spanish and various other courses like Yoga and Karate. The weather is pleasant here in Pune. So far, we have got only very few showers, we hope that God will send very many showers and above all a plentiful showers of blessings for every one this year.
