On the wings of Love

Fr Shekhar Manickam’s book of poems “On The Wings Of Love –Verses From The Heart” has been translated into Tamil by Fr V M Gnanapragasam, a Jesuit and a Tamil scholar from Madurai Province. The book was released by Fr Shekhar’s mother L Viagulam on 11 May, in his native place Valayampatty in Tamilnadu. The first copy of the book was received by Mr S Gunasekaran, MLA of Sivagangai constituency. The book is published by a leading publishing house, Shree Shenbaga Padipagam, Chennai. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Leo Joseph, a Tamil writer, said, “Fr Shekhar’s book is a unique contribution to Tamil literature”. (Fr V. Susaimanickam)
We regret to announce the death of Fr.Gnanapragasm V. Michael ( MDU) 89/68 , on 03 June 2012. This was his last work of translation.
